• Expands crime victim compensation eligibility to include victims of financial elder or dependent adult abuse under Penal Code Sections 368(d) and (e)

• Authorizes reimbursement for financial counseling expenses up to $1,000 for victims of financial elder or dependent adult abuse, with combined mental health and financial counseling capped at $2,000

• Makes derivative victims ineligible for compensation if financial elder or dependent adult abuse is the only crime suffered by the victim
