Appropriates $3,000,000 from the Major Risk Medical Insurance Fund to the West Contra Costa Healthcare District for support of the Doctors Medical Center.

Funds appropriated come specifically from deposits in the Major Risk Medical Insurance Fund that originated from the Cigarette and Tobacco Products Surtax Fund.

Bill takes effect immediately and is classified as an appropriation for usual current expenses of the state.

Became law on September 27, 2014 after passage by both chambers on August 30, 2014 and approval by the Governor.
