Amends Penal Code Section 629.52 to add human trafficking (Section 236.1) to the list of offenses for which law enforcement can obtain court orders to intercept wire and electronic communications.

Requires judges to find probable cause that an individual is committing, has committed, or is about to commit human trafficking before authorizing interception.

Maintains existing requirements that applicants demonstrate probable cause that communications concerning the illegal activity will be obtained through interception and that normal investigative procedures have failed or are unlikely to succeed.

Effective until January 1, 2015 (sunset provision matching existing interception authority).
