Proclaims June 6, 2014, as D-Day Remembrance Day to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the D-Day Landings on June 6, 1944, in Normandy, France.

Urges Governor Jerry Brown to instruct all state departments and agencies to fly United States and California flags at half-mast on June 6, 2014, in recognition of those who died in the operation.

Calls upon all Californians to observe the anniversary with appropriate ceremonies and activities honoring the veterans who participated in the D-Day invasion.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Military Department, California State Military Museum, and the bill's author.
