Approves continued study by the California Law Revision Commission of 23 topics previously authorized or directed by the Legislature, including creditors' remedies, probate law, real and personal property, family law, and evidence code revisions.

Requires the commission to submit detailed descriptions of work scope to the chairs and vice chairs of the Senate and Assembly Judiciary Committees and other relevant policy committees before commencing work on any approved project.

Invites commission staff to appear and testify at committee hearings on bills implementing commission recommendations, though staff may not advocate for or against the legislation.

Requests the commission provide copies of its recommendations to each policy committee member hearing bills that would implement those recommendations.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the California Law Revision Commission and the author for appropriate distribution.
