Notes that as of February 24, 2014, approximately 1,273,100 California unemployed workers had exhausted all available unemployment benefits.

Highlights that the EUC program provided $4.5 billion in benefits to the California economy in 2013 and that California's statewide unemployment rate was 8.5 percent with three unemployed workers per available job.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of this resolution to the President, Vice President, Congress leadership, and all California representatives in Congress.
