Honors Norway's 200th Constitution Day, celebrated annually on May 17 to commemorate the signing of Norway's constitution at Eidsvoll on May 17, 1814

Recognizes traditional Constitution Day celebrations including parades involving schools, high school graduates, bands, and community organizations, with many participants wearing traditional Norwegian bunads (costumes)

Notes that the Norwegian royal family has gathered on the Royal Palace balcony in Oslo since 1906 to wave to marching children during the celebration

Acknowledges that Norwegians and people of Norwegian ancestry celebrate Constitution Day worldwide, including in the United States, Australia, and Scotland through dinners, festivals, and street parades

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the author for appropriate distribution
