Amends Penal Code Section 653w to increase the minimum fine for second or subsequent convictions of failing to disclose the origin of recordings or audiovisual works from $0 to $1,000.

Maintains the maximum fine of $200,000 for second or subsequent offenses, with possible jail time up to one year or felony imprisonment.

Clarifies that the offense applies to selling, renting, manufacturing, or possessing recordings or audiovisual works without proper disclosure of manufacturer name and address and creator information on packaging.

Provides different penalties based on offense severity: larger penalties for violations involving 100+ articles, and lesser penalties for first offenses ($50,000 maximum fine).

Makes technical, nonsubstantive changes to existing law while preserving exemptions for original software manufacturers and authorized licensees.
