Mandates distribution of information about the federal Post-9/11 GI Bill and the California National Guard Education Assistance Award Program, along with contact information for County Veterans Service Officers and the California Department of Veterans Affairs higher education division

Requests that the Office of the Adjutant General provide assistance to help eligible military members complete the financial aid forms made available to them

Reinstates provisions that were in effect until January 1, 2012, expanding them to include additional educational resources and support
