Creates the Eric Paredes Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act requiring the State Department of Education to post guidelines, videos, and information sheets on sudden cardiac arrest symptoms on its website.

Requires pupils and parents/guardians to sign and return acknowledgment of receipt of sudden cardiac arrest information sheets before participating in athletic activities each school year.

Mandates removal from athletic participation of any pupil who passes out or faints during or immediately after an athletic activity, with clearance by a physician required before return to play.

Requires coaches to complete sudden cardiac arrest training every two years, with suspension from coaching as penalty for non-compliance beginning July 1, 2019.

Becomes operative on July 1, 2017, and applies to public schools, charter schools, and private schools that conduct athletic activities.
