Entities developing training curricula must consult with city attorneys or county counsel to verify sufficiency and accuracy of content.

Local agencies must maintain records of training completion for at least 5 years and provide written recommendations on available training to officials and employees at least once before assuming a new position and every 2 years thereafter.
