Requires the Department of Industrial Relations, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and State Department of Public Health (with specific funding) to collect and tabulate demographic data for additional Asian groups (Bangladeshi, Hmong, Indonesian, Malaysian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Taiwanese, Thai) and Pacific Islander groups (Fijian, Tongan).

Mandates these agencies make collected demographic data publicly available on their websites by July 1, 2012, and annually thereafter, except for personal identifying information and data that could identify individuals.

Requires agencies to update their data collection categories within 18 months after each decennial U.S. Census is released to reflect how the Census Bureau reports Asian and Pacific Islander groups.

Exempts the State Department of Public Health from reporting demographic data that would permit individual identification or result in statistical unreliability, allowing data aggregation at state, county, city, census tract, or ZIP Code levels.

Allows the State Department of Public Health to continue collecting data in original form when data comes from federal programs or third-party administered surveys not solely funded by the state.
