Amends Sections 301, 302, and 303 of the Business and Professions Code to make nonsubstantive technical changes to language regarding the Department of Consumer Affairs and consumer protection provisions.

Corrects spelling and grammar in Section 301, changing "insure" to "ensure" and "which" to "that" in provisions describing legislative intent to protect consumers from deceptive practices.

Updates Section 302 definitions to revise terminology, including changing "any individual" to "an individual" for consumers and clarifying language regarding credit and labeling in the definition of "interests of consumers."

Modifies Section 303 to add gender-neutral pronouns ("or her") when referring to the chief of the Division of Consumer Services, who is appointed by the Governor and whose compensation is fixed by the director.

Makes no substantive changes to consumer protection laws or Department of Consumer Affairs authority or operations.
