Amends Penal Code Section 166 to make violations of protective orders issued after convictions for inflicting corporal injury punishable by up to one year in county jail, fines up to $1,000, or both.

Establishes that second or subsequent violations within 7 years involving an act of violence or credible threat of violence are punishable as either a misdemeanor or felony.

Requires courts granting probation for protective order violations to impose minimum 36-month probation, criminal protective orders, minimum $500 fine, completion of a batterer's program, and community service.

Adds protective orders issued under Penal Code Section 273.5 (corporal injury) to the list of court orders whose violation constitutes contempt of court.

Specifies no state reimbursement is required as the bill only modifies penalties for existing crimes.
