Amends Probate Code Section 8200 to expand the types of death certificates accepted for will release from court clerks.

Allows court clerks to release copies of wills upon receipt of an "informational certified copy" of a death certificate in addition to the previously required certified copy.

Defines "informational certified copy" by reference to Health and Safety Code Section 103526 specifications.

Maintains existing requirements that custodians deliver wills to superior court within 30 days of testator's death and mail copies to named executors or beneficiaries.

No appropriation or new fiscal impact on state budget required.
