• Increases authorization for the Department of Transportation to use the Construction Manager/General Contractor method from 6 projects to 12 projects, with at least 10 projects having construction costs exceeding $10 million

• Requires the department to use its own employees or contracted consultants to perform all project design and engineering services on at least 8 of the 12 projects, and all construction inspection services on all 12 projects

• Requires the department to submit annual reports to the Legislature describing project details including completion stage, cost, status, and estimated completion time for ongoing projects
