CA AB2212

Adds "video" to the definition of "electronic act" under the bullying provision in Education Code Section 48900, allowing suspension or expulsion for bullying conducted through video transmission.

Defines "electronic act" as creation or transmission by electronic device of communications including "a message, text, sound, video, or image" or posts on social network websites.

Specifies that electronic acts include burn pages, credible impersonations of pupils, and false profiles created for bullying purposes.

Establishes that an electronic act shall not be considered pervasive conduct solely because it was transmitted on or posted to the Internet.

Contains conditional operative clause stating Section 1.5 becomes operative only if both AB 2212 and AB 2536 are enacted and AB 2212 is enacted after AB 2536.
