Extends confidentiality protections for home addresses in Department of Motor Vehicles records to employees of the State Department of State Hospitals, subject to existing exceptions for courts, law enforcement agencies, and other official entities.

Adds State Department of State Hospitals employees to the list of public employees and officials whose home addresses can be kept confidential upon request, alongside existing protections for corrections and prison industry employees.

Maintains existing exceptions allowing disclosure of confidential home addresses to courts, law enforcement agencies, the State Board of Equalization, attorneys in civil or criminal actions with court approval, and governmental agencies required by law to access the information.

Preserves existing provisions regarding confidentiality duration after termination of employment and the department's duty to inform requesters of the individual's employer or court affiliation.
