Requires the State Water Resources Control Board and Department of Fish and Wildlife to report to the Legislature by June 1, 2017, on the status of the suction dredge permitting program established in 2015.

Report must include the number of permits issued statewide, permit costs and associated fees, requirements and process for obtaining waste discharge requirements and permits, and a discussion of public workshops conducted.

Report submission must comply with Section 9795 of the Government Code.

Section 13172.6 is automatically repealed on June 1, 2021, pursuant to Section 10231.5 of the Government Code.
