Authorizes coroners to release photographs and video recordings of deceased persons' bodies for use in civil lawsuits if written authorization is provided by a legal heir or representative with a declaration under penalty of perjury, valid identification, and certified death certificate, or if a subpoena is issued by a legal heir or representative in a pending civil action.

Requires deponents served with deposition notices or subpoenas for electronically stored information to provide direct access to or translate password-protected or otherwise inaccessible information into a reasonably usable form.

Mandates that expert witnesses served with a deposition notice must produce all materials and electronically stored information called for by the notice no later than 3 business days before their deposition.

Exempts coroners from personal liability for monetary damages in civil actions for complying with the authorization requirements for releasing deceased persons' images.
