Declares the Legislature's intent to enact legislation establishing United States Standard Pacific Time as the year-round standard time in California

Currently, California observes Daylight Saving Time from 1 a.m. on the last Sunday of April through 2 a.m. on the last Sunday of October

Would eliminate the seasonal time change and keep the state on Pacific Standard Time throughout the entire year if enacted

This is an intent bill with no direct immediate effect; actual legislation would be required to implement the change
