Attorney General shall develop a uniform concealed carry license that serves as proof of licensure throughout the state.

Attorney General must approve locally-issued licenses that include required information (applicant photograph, name, physical description, residence, business address, weapon description with serial number) and meet design standards set by a committee.

Attorney General shall maintain exemplars of approved licenses and a list of agencies issuing local licenses; approved local licenses may be used in lieu of the state uniform license.

A committee of representatives from California State Sheriffs' Association (two), California Police Chiefs Association (two), and Department of Justice (one) shall review and revise uniform license design standards as needed.

Standard application forms for concealed carry licenses must be uniform statewide as prescribed by the Attorney General and shall include a section summarizing state law requirements that result in automatic denial.
