Requires local educational agencies and private schools (elementary and high school level) that maintain employee codes of conduct to provide written copies to parents or guardians of enrolled pupils at the beginning of each school year, commencing July 1, 2017

Requires posting of employee codes of conduct on school websites or providing a link in a publicly accessible manner without password protection, commencing January 1, 2017

Allows local educational agencies to satisfy the written notification requirement by including the code of conduct with other required notices at the beginning of the first semester or quarter

Applies to school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, and private schools offering elementary or high school instruction

Does not require schools to create new websites if they do not already have one, and excludes private schools composed exclusively of parents or legal guardians working with their own children
