Amends Insurance Code Section 790.034 to make technical, nonsubstantive changes to claims settlement requirements for insurers.

Requires each insurer to provide insured parties with a legible copy of specified Insurance Code provisions and a written notice within 15 calendar days of receiving a claim notice.

Mandates insurers provide copies of fair claims settlement regulations and related code sections upon request within 15 calendar days, unless those regulations do not apply to that class of insurer.

Applies to all insurers except those licensed under Chapter 1 of Part 6 of Division 2 with respect to specific policies and endorsements.

Becomes operative on January 1, 2017.
