Amends Section 25511 of the Public Resources Code to require the State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission to demand applicants provide information on how proposed power facilities will increase or decrease reliance on underground natural gas storage.

Shifts the requirement for underground natural gas storage information from the notice of intention (Section 25504) to the commission's detailed information requests during the site review process.

Requires applicants to provide the underground natural gas storage information as part of safety and reliability review factors, alongside emergency systems, waste handling, seismic design, and population density control measures.

Updates language in Section 25511 to clarify the commission "determines" relevant information requirements rather than "may determine."
