Requires state agencies to account for current and future climate change impacts when planning, designing, building, operating, maintaining, and investing in state infrastructure until July 1, 2020.

Mandates establishment of a Climate-Safe Infrastructure Working Group by July 1, 2017, composed of registered professional engineers, climate scientists, and licensed architects to integrate climate change data into state infrastructure engineering.

Working group must examine informational and institutional barriers to incorporating climate impacts into infrastructure design, identify critical information engineers need, and develop methods for selecting appropriate designs for various future climate scenarios.

Requires the working group to submit recommendations to the Legislature and Strategic Growth Council by July 1, 2018, addressing integration of climate science into design standards, information gaps, and communication platforms between scientists and engineers.

Sunsets on July 1, 2020, with full repeal on January 1, 2021, unless extended by subsequent legislation.
