Extends appeal periods for disability benefit eligibility determinations from 20 days to 30 days, effective March 1, 2018.

Expands protest period for disability benefit computation disputes from 20 days to 30 days, effective March 1, 2018.

Extends appeal periods for overpayment determinations from 20 days to 30 days for both administrative law judge and appeals board appeals, effective March 1, 2018.

Provides that submitting an appeal within 30 days before March 1, 2018 constitutes good cause to extend the standard 20-day appeal period.

Defines "good cause" to include mistake, inadvertence, surprise, or excusable neglect for all extended appeal periods.
