Requires employers to maintain a complete, updated written injury prevention program at each worksite with 3 or more employees, effective July 1, 2017.

Mandates worksite copies of the injury prevention program be available in English and in the language spoken by the majority of employees at that location.

Requires employers to inform all current and new employees of their right to inspect the injury prevention program and request a complete copy in writing within 5 business days at no cost.

Allows employees to seek injunctive relief if an employer fails to timely respond to a written request for the injury prevention program and fails to comply with a subsequent written demand, unless the Division of Occupational Safety and Health has already cited the employer for non-compliance.

Establishes that impossibility of performance not caused by a violation of law is an affirmative defense for employers, and clarifies that authorized representatives may request copies on behalf of employees.
