Requires wine labeled with an American Viticultural Area entirely within Monterey County to bear the designation "Monterey County" on the label, effective for wines bottled on or after January 1, 2019

Specifies minimum type size of 2 millimeters for containers larger than 187 milliliters and 1 millimeter for containers of 187 milliliters or less

Exempts wines already labeled with the appellation name "Monterey" from this requirement

Authorizes the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to suspend or revoke licenses of violators, but prohibits civil or criminal penalties otherwise available under the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act
