Prohibits landlords from showing, renting, or leasing vacant dwelling units with known bed bug infestations.

Requires landlords to provide prospective tenants written notice about bed bug identification, behavior, and reporting procedures beginning July 1, 2017, and to all other tenants by January 1, 2018.

Mandates landlords notify tenants of pest control inspection findings within 2 business days in writing.

Adds bed bug infestation reports to retaliation protections under Section 1942.5, preventing landlords from retaliating against tenants for reporting suspected infestations for 180 days.

Establishes that tenants must cooperate with pest control inspections and operators to facilitate bed bug detection and treatment.
