Requires principals to maintain and make readily available updated safety plans to staff, law enforcement, first responders, and the public.

Expands charter school petition requirements to include development of a comprehensive school safety plan that is reviewed and updated annually as part of health and safety procedures.

Specifies that school safety plans address crime assessment, emergency procedures, disaster response, bullying prevention, safe ingress/egress, and discipline policies.
