Expands the definition of "fire prevention activities" to explicitly include coordination and cooperation with the federal government, including cost estimates for Fire Safe Councils and community emergency response teams, forest fuel management funding needs, and coordinated defensible space policies.

Requires the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection to include a map of coordination areas between the department and federal government in its annual fire prevention report, particularly in high fire hazard severity and wildland-urban interface areas.

Mandates annual reports to the Legislature by January 10 detailing fire prevention activities from the previous fiscal year, broken down by region, including hours of fire prevention education, defensible space inspections, citations issued, and acres treated by mechanical fuel reduction and prescribed burns.

Establishes legislative intent that year-round staffing and extended workweeks funded through memorandums of understanding result in increased fire prevention activities and do not reduce reimbursements from "Amador agreements" (contracts with local governments for fire protection services).

Requires reporting of projected fire prevention activities for the following fiscal year and annual updates on "Amador agreements" in effect and associated reimbursements received.
