Requests that the U.S. Congress pass H.R. 2737 and S. 1555 to recognize Filipino veterans of World War II

Acknowledges Filipino soldiers' service in the United States Army Forces in the Far East (USAFFE) from July 26, 1941 to December 31, 1946, including combat in the Philippines and participation in guerrilla groups

Recognizes the sacrifices of approximately 63,000 Filipino soldiers, including those who died in the Bataan Death March (approximately 10,000 Filipino soldiers) and subsequent prisoner of war camps

Documents the 1946 Surplus Rescission Acts that denied Filipino soldiers recognition as active military service members for purposes of U.S. veterans' benefits and rights

Directs the California Legislature to transmit copies of this resolution to the President, Vice President, Congressional leaders, and California's federal representatives
