Requires applicants for renewal of professional engineer, geologist, geophysicist, and land surveyor certificates/licenses to complete a board-administered online assessment on state laws and regulations applicable to their practice area.

Assessment must be completed within 60 days after certificate/license expiration; failure to complete may result in disciplinary action but does not prevent renewal.

Board cannot charge a fee for administering or developing the assessment.

Assessment content limited to the board's top five types of violations related to administrative and procedural aspects of practice and any changes to existing law.

Requires applicants for geophysicist licensure to pass a written examination testing knowledge of state laws and regulations, with the state laws portion administered as a separate part of the examination.
