CA SB1098

Requires the Department of Health Care Services to report to the Legislature by October 1, 2017, on progress toward raising the Denti-Cal utilization rate among eligible child beneficiaries to 60% or greater.

Mandates the department identify a projected date by which the 60% utilization goal will be achieved.

Authorizes the department to include legislative recommendations in the report that would assist in meeting the utilization goal, with input from relevant stakeholders.

Sunsets the reporting requirement on January 1, 2021.
