Increases physician and osteopathic physician license fees from $25 to $50 to fund the Steven M. Thompson Physician Corps Loan Repayment Program

Increases mental health practitioner license renewal fees from $10 to $20 for psychologists, marriage and family therapists, clinical social workers, and adds a new $20 fee for licensed professional clinical counselors

Raises maximum loan repayment limits for physicians in medically underserved areas from $105,000 to $150,000 total, with increased amounts at each service milestone ($40,000 after year one, $50,000 additional after year two, $60,000 additional after year three)

Expands physician loan repayment eligibility to include those providing psychiatric services and adds licensed professional clinical counselors to eligible mental health service providers under the Licensed Mental Health Service Provider Education Program

Takes effect immediately as an urgency statute
