Amends Vehicle Code Section 1808.4 to require the Department of Motor Vehicles to discontinue protecting home addresses of spouses or children of specified government officials and peace officers if those family members are convicted of a felony in California or of an offense that would be a felony under California law.

Applies the felony conviction disqualifier only to family members of peace officers, nonsworn police employees, and designated sensitive position employees (paragraphs 9, 11, 13, and 22 of subdivision (a)).

Requires the employing agency to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of the disqualifying conviction, or the department must discontinue confidentiality protections upon becoming aware of the conviction through other means.

Maintains existing confidentiality protections for home addresses of the enumerated officials and employees themselves, and preserves other exceptions to confidentiality disclosure.
