SB 345 - The Sport Fishing Stimulus Act of 2015

• Allows charitable organizations and nonprofits to possess fish taken under sport fishing licenses in excess of possession limits if they receive the fish from a donor and maintain proper documentation (donor's license copy, tag numbers, and signed donation confirmation).

• Authorizes "donor intermediaries" (recipients of fish from sport fishers who donate to charities) to possess fish in excess of possession limits under the same documentation and tag retention requirements as charitable organizations.

• Increases minimum age eligibility for most sport fishing licenses from 16 to 18 years old beginning January 1, 2018, through January 1, 2023, while creating a junior sport fishing license for ages 16-17 charged at the one-day fishing license rate.

• Requires the Fish and Game Commission to recommend legislation or adopt regulations clarifying when processing sport fish into food does not violate possession limits.
