Requires owners of separate interests in common interest developments to provide written notice to their homeowners' association annually with their preferred mailing address(es) for association notices.

Owners must also annually disclose the name and address of their legal representative, power of attorney, or emergency contact, along with the occupancy status of their property (owner-occupied, rented, vacant, or undeveloped).

Associations must request these annual notices from owners and enter the information into their records at least 30 days before making their own required disclosure under Section 5300.

If an owner fails to provide mailing address information, the property address is automatically deemed as the address for notice delivery.
