Adds Section 2640.2 to the Probate Code to permit persons who successfully petition for conservator appointments to recover compensation and costs from the court.

Allows the petitioner and their attorney to petition the court for compensation and reimbursement of costs, but only after 90 days from issuance of letters to the conservator.

Requires 15 days' notice before the hearing on the compensation petition, with the court determining reasonable compensation for services and costs incurred in facilitating the conservator appointment.

Charges all approved compensation and costs to the conservatee's estate, or if only a conservator of the person is appointed, to property belonging to the conservatee regardless of how it is held.
