CA AB1131

Requires the 50th District Agricultural Association, if it has entered into a joint powers agreement under the Joint Exercise of Powers Act, to have the joint powers agency conduct annual examinations and reviews of books and accounts plus audits every 3 years.

Specifies that if the joint powers agency performs separate audits of both the association and itself, it must submit both audits to the Department of Agriculture in the manner prescribed by law.

Applies only to the 50th District Agricultural Association and does not affect other district agricultural associations' existing audit requirements.

Incorporates provisions from AB 1351 through Section 1.5, which becomes operative only if both AB 1131 and AB 1351 are enacted and AB 1131 is enacted after AB 1351.
