Enacts the Power of Attorney to Care for a Minor Child Act, allowing one or both parents to execute a power of attorney granting an attorney-in-fact authority to care for their minor child.

Requires the power of attorney to include specific information: names and addresses of parents and agent, child's name and birth date, authorized powers, effective date or triggering conditions, and required notices to schools and healthcare providers.

Protects third parties who act in good faith reliance on the power of attorney from criminal liability, civil liability, and professional disciplinary action, unless they have actual knowledge of contrary facts.

Requires both parents with legal custody to execute the power of attorney unless the other parent's location is unknown, reasonably inaccessible, or incapable of approving it.

Provides that a validly executed power of attorney supersedes caregiver authorization affidavits, acts as a nomination of guardian in guardianship proceedings, but does not grant legal custody or affect parental rights regarding care, custody, and control of the child.
