Extends indefinitely the requirement for manufacturers and suppliers of plastic food container products to maintain documentation supporting environmental marketing claims about recycled content (previously set to expire January 1, 2018).

Requires manufacturers and suppliers to document that recycled materials were recovered or diverted from the solid waste stream during manufacturing (preconsumer) or after consumer use (postconsumer).

Mandates that recycled content claims conform to Federal Trade Commission uniform standards for recycled content (16 C.F.R. Part 260).

Requires manufacturers and suppliers to furnish requested documentation to the public or provide a link to the information on their website.
