Authorizes courts to impose additional consecutive prison sentences when a person takes, damages, or destroys property during the commission or attempted commission of a felony, with intent to cause that loss.

Establishes tiered sentencing enhancements: up to 2 years for property loss exceeding $235,000; up to 3 years for loss exceeding $1,500,000; up to 4 years for loss exceeding $3,700,000.

Requires the property loss amounts to be charged in the accusatory pleading and admitted or found true by the trier of fact before additional terms can be imposed.

Mandates the Legislature review and adjust the threshold amounts for inflation every 5 years.

Took effect immediately upon passage as an urgency statute declared necessary to deter economic damage from white collar fraud schemes.
