Requires hotel employers to provide employees working alone in guestrooms with a free panic button to summon immediate assistance during crimes, harassment, or emergencies.

Mandates posting notices in each guestroom (18-point type minimum) informing employees that panic buttons are available for housekeepers and other workers.

Requires employers to provide paid time off to employees who report violence, sexual assault, or sexual harassment by guests to contact law enforcement, attorneys, medical professionals, or counselors.

Requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations (such as transfer, reassignment, or modified schedules) to employees subjected to violence, sexual assault, or harassment, and to report crimes to law enforcement upon employee request.

Prohibits employers from discriminating or retaliating against employees who use panic buttons, report incidents, request time off, or seek accommodations; establishes civil penalties of $100 per day (maximum $1,000) for violations.
