Community colleges receiving Student Equity and Achievement Program funding must inform students of their rights to access transfer-level coursework, academic credit ESL coursework, and multiple measures placement policies through catalogs, orientation materials, and written communications.

Community colleges must annually report placement policies and placement results (including number of students assessed and placed, disaggregated by race and ethnicity) to the Chancellor's Office.

Community colleges must publicly post their placement results showing the number of students assessed and placed into transfer-level coursework, transfer-level coursework with concurrent support, or transfer-level or credit ESL coursework, disaggregated by race and ethnicity.

The Chancellor's Office is directed to make collected placement policies and data publicly available (except personally identifiable information) by posting on its website or making available upon request.

Requirements must be satisfied by the implementation date established by regulation pursuant to Section 78213.
