Requires school districts to include information on how social media and mobile device applications are used for human trafficking in comprehensive sexual health and HIV prevention education for grades 7-12.

Mandates this human trafficking instruction include prevalence, nature, risk reduction strategies, healthy boundary-setting techniques, and how to safely seek assistance.

Allows school districts to optionally provide instruction about risks and consequences of creating and sharing sexually suggestive or sexually explicit materials through digital media and social networks.

Permits school districts to offer comprehensive sexual health education earlier than grade 7 with age-appropriate and medically accurate information.

Establishes that if the Commission on State Mandates determines this bill imposes state-mandated costs, reimbursement shall be made pursuant to Government Code Part 7, commencing with Section 17500.
