Enacts the Big Bear Fire Agencies Pension Consolidation Act of 2018, allowing the Big Bear Fire Authority to assume all revenues, debts, obligations, and liabilities of the City of Big Bear Lake's safety plan covering Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District employees.

All safety employees currently employed by the Big Bear Lake Fire Protection District become employees of the Big Bear Fire Authority upon the Board of Retirement's consent, with no break in service or change of retirement system membership status.

The Big Bear Fire Authority assumes all rights and obligations of the city as a participating district in the San Bernardino County Employees' Retirement Association, including employer contributions, unfunded actuarial liability payments, and employee contribution withholding.

Termination of the city safety plan does not trigger withdrawal liability, and the authority assumes the city's prior obligations for unfunded actuarial liability payments.

The bill takes effect immediately as an urgency statute and declares its provisions severable.
