Amends Probate Code Section 1600 to clarify that guardianship of a ward's estate terminates upon the ward's death, except as provided by Sections 2467 and 2630 et seq.

Preserves the guardian's or conservator's continued duty to maintain custody and preserve the estate pending delivery to the personal representative or other lawful disposition.

Maintains the guardian's or conservator's authority to contract for and pay reasonable expenses of the ward's or conservatee's last illness, disposition of remains, and other unpaid fees after death.
