Department of General Services must submit annual reports to the Legislature and make them publicly available of all noncompetitive bid contracts it approved over $1,000,000 during the preceding year.

Each report must include the contracting agency, contract value, and original contract value if the noncompetitive contract was an amendment to an existing contract.

Reports must document enforcement mechanisms employed, including the number of rejected noncompetitive requests, warnings issued to agencies, and corrective action plans required.

Reports must be submitted in compliance with Government Code Section 9795.

This reporting requirement automatically expires on January 1, 2023.
